Biography

Michelle Savoie is a full professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Montreal and president of Consilio Manuque. She has 25 years of experience in health and pharmaceutical sectors, having held strategic positions in pharmaceutical companies including Schering Canada, Eli Lilly Canada, and Bristol-Myers Squibb. She later became the general manager of Montreal InVivo and served as CEO until 2015. Alongside her private sector activities, she teaches courses on drug development, reimbursement, and public health policies. She has also been the executive director of the Therapeutic Management Research Group at the Faculty of Medicine, a member of the educational committee for the drug development diploma and master's program, and a professor within the same faculty. Additionally, she actively serves on the boards of the NEOMED Institute and the International Congress on Personalized Healthcare, and on the Investment Committee of the New Economy of the FTQ Solidarity Fund. Michelle has contributed to the creation of several initiatives including the Quebec Consortium for Drug Discovery and strategies in personalized healthcare. She holds a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Laval University, three master's degrees including an MBA from the University of Ottawa, a master's in public health from Boston University, and a master's in health law and policy from the University of Sherbrooke. She also has a Ph.D. in biomedical sciences from the University of Montreal and is an accredited corporate director (IAS.A.) from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
