Michi Shinohara attended Reed College in Portland, Oregon, starting as an art major but transitioned into the sciences, graduating with a major in Chemistry. Dr. Shinohara is actively involved with the Board of Directors of the Women’s Dermatology Society and the United States Cutaneous Lymphoma Consortium, and she participates in the Association of Professors in Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatopathology.
