Michiel Hochstenbach received his PhD degree in mathematics in 2003 from Utrecht University, Netherlands, under the supervision of Henk van der Vorst. He has received multiple paper awards and has served as a member of the editorial board of various journals. Additionally, Michiel has acted as an advisor and co-advisor to numerous PhD students, further contributing to the academic community.
