Biography

Mihaela Papa is a Director and Principal Research Scientist at the Center for International Studies (CIS) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Her research interests also explore the potential to de-dollarize global finance, as seen in her contributions to Cambridge Elements. Her academic journey began with postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Law School, which directed her research towards emerging economies, particularly through fieldwork in India and collaboration with Fudan University’s Center for BRICS Studies in Shanghai.
