Biography

Mihai Curtasu is a PhD Fellow and Assistant Professor in the Department of Animal and Veterinary Sciences at Aarhus University. His research primarily focuses on nutritional metabolomics and molecular nutrition, specifically in the application of dietary interventions to enhance animal health and performance. He has contributed to projects investigating the effects of nutrition, disease, and feed additives on animal metabolism. Mihai holds a double degree in Sustainable Animal Nutrition from the Erasmus Mundus program and has established international collaborations to advance research in untargeted metabolomics analysis. In addition to his research, Mihai is committed to teaching and has a teaching philosophy that emphasizes research-led instruction.
