Biography

Mikael Coldrey is an Adjunct Professor at Chalmers University, where he is a member of the Communication Systems Group in the Department of Electrical Engineering. He has extensive experience as a Principal Researcher at Ericsson Research, Ericsson AB, located in Gothenburg, Sweden. Mikael obtained his Master of Science degree in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering from Linköping University in 2000, with additional studies at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Chalmers in 2006 and was awarded the title of Docent (habilitation) in 2020. His primary research interests include signal processing, advanced antenna systems, millimeter wave communications, radio access, and wireless transport networks.
