Biography

Mikael Forsman started his academic journey in electrical engineering, earning a Ph.D. in Medical Electronics from Chalmers University of Technology in 1995. His research primarily focuses on ergonomics and the application of advanced research methods in both laboratory and field settings. Forsman has conducted numerous field studies involving quantitative data assessments, including direct measurements, video analyses, and questionnaire data on physical and psychosocial exposure. He has been a professor and head of the Division of Ergonomics at KTH, overseeing significant educational activities, including examining and supervising numerous master’s and doctoral theses.
