Biography

Mikal Mast is the Hub Manager for CO2RE at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, University of Oxford. He is responsible for the smooth running of the project, overseeing coordination of the research support team. His responsibilities include managing communications for the Greenhouse Gas Removal Programme, monitoring and reporting on project progress, data management, financial oversight, and resource allocation. Prior to joining the Hub, Mikal served as project manager for PEAK Urban, a UKRI GCRF project based at the COMPAS School of Anthropology, where he managed several EU charity-funded projects. He has also held various communications and administrative roles at the University of Oxford and the University of Glasgow. Mikal holds a BA in History and French from Calvin College and an MA in Chinese Studies from the University of Arizona.
