Biography

Mike Bartolacci is a part-time adjunct instructor in the Department of Information Sciences and Technology at Penn State Berks. He has an extensive academic background, holding a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and both an MBA and a BA in Engineering from Lehigh University and Lafayette College, respectively. Bartolacci teaches courses related to Information Sciences and Technology, Security and Risk Analysis, and Cybersecurity at the Penn State World Campus. He is actively engaged in research focusing on Telecommunications and Network Modeling, Knowledge Management, Information Technology applications, Emergency and Disaster Planning Management, and Cybersecurity. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Bartolacci serves as an editor for the International Journal Mobile Network Design Innovation and co-edits the International Journal Interdisciplinary Telecommunications Networking. He has chaired the INFORMS Technical Section on Telecommunications Network Analytics and has been involved in several grants related to Cybersecurity Education and Freight Transportation Planning. Bartolacci has also been invited to speak at various universities and conferences across multiple countries including China, Denmark, England, and Germany.
