Biography

Mike Graul is a Professor of Practice in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Texas A&M University, serving as the Senior Director of Workforce Development for Professional and Continuing Education at the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station. He earned his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1995. His research primarily focuses on lean engineering systems theory, with extensive knowledge in systems engineering, system simulation, production system design analysis, and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) production systems. Since 1992, he has been a Senior Research Scientist at Knowledge Based Systems, Inc., where he has contributed to advanced engineering practices applying AI and ML techniques to MRO prediction. He has been actively involved in industry experience as a faculty sponsor for the American Society of Engineering Management and as a director for the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers Society for Engineering and Management Systems. Graul has also contributed significantly to engineering education and the development of MRO strategies.
