Biography

Dr. Mike McMullen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology Perioperative Medicine at Queen's University. His academic interests focus on outcomes research, particularly in the areas of preoperative assessment, regional anesthesia, and acute pain management. Dr. McMullen has undergone extensive training, including postgraduate education at the University of Manitoba, where he obtained his FRCPC, followed by a fellowship in perioperative medicine and acute pain management at the University of Ottawa. His clinical practice emphasizes evidence-based approaches to enhancing patient outcomes during the perioperative period. As an active member of the medical community, Dr. McMullen contributes to curriculum development and is involved with various committees related to postgraduate medical education.
