Biography

Mikhail Isaev completed postgraduate programs in 2014, earning PhDs in Applied Mathematics from Ecole Polytechnique, France, and Mathematics Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Russia. Following his postgraduate studies, he moved to Australia and worked as a Research Fellow with B.D. McKay at the Australian National University (ANU) from January 2015 to June 2016. He later took a postdoctoral position under the supervision of C. Greenhill at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). In August 2017, Mikhail held roles at Monash University, including postdoc, lecturer, and DECRA Research Fellow. He joined the School of Mathematics and Statistics at UNSW in November 2024.
