Mila Daskalova is a British Academy and LKAS Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow. She completed her PhD at the University of Strathclyde in 2022, where her doctoral thesis won the Sally Mitchell Dissertation Prize from the Research Society for Victorian Periodicals. Her research interests include Nineteenth-Century Literature and Culture, Literature and Medicine, History of Medicine and Psychiatry, Medical Humanities, and Periodical Studies.
