Generate a tailored SOP for Dr. Milad Kamkar. Improve your application with a focused, well-structured draft.
Milad Kamkar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Waterloo. His work is focused on structure-property relationships of soft materials. During his PhD, Kamkar made significant contributions to the understanding of the nano- and micro-structural features of polymeric systems such as polymer nanocomposites, blends, solutions, and hydrogels using advanced rheological techniques. After completing his PhD, he worked on 3D printing and liquid-in-liquid printing of nanomaterials-based hydrogels, polymers, and suspensions for various electrical applications, including the fabrication of electromagnetic shields with complex geometries. His current research interests include the synthesis and additive manufacturing of sustainable materials (like Cellulose Nanocrystals, Cellulose Nanofibers, and Chitin nanocrystals) as well as advanced materials such as graphene and MXene.
Includes fields like Clinical, Cognitive, Developmental, and Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
