Dr. Milana Dolezal

Biography

Milana V. Dolezal is a board-certified hematologist-oncologist at the Stanford Medicine Cancer Center in Emeryville, where she serves as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Oncology. Her clinical focus is on Medical Oncology, and she has extensive experience in drug development research. Dr. Dolezal has previously held roles as a clinical scientist and medical director at BioOncology Therapeutics at Genentech. Her research has included clinical studies on fertility preservation for breast cancer patients and advanced treatment strategies for triple-negative breast cancer, as well as adherence to anti-cancer therapies. She has co-authored significant articles in journals such as the Journal of Clinical Oncology and Cancer, and contributed to a textbook chapter on breast cancer. Dr. Dolezal is active in professional circles, having presented her work at meetings for the American Association for Cancer Research and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. In addition to her clinical and research roles, she has been involved in triathlon and cycling coaching for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
