Biography

Milhim Aswad, MD, is an Assistant Professor at Boston University's Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, specializing in Ophthalmology & Vision Sciences. He is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a corneal specialist with extensive experience in general ophthalmology. Dr. Aswad completed his medical degree and internship at the American University of Beirut Medical Center in Lebanon. Dr. Aswad is actively involved in teaching ophthalmology residents at Boston University and the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, along with serving at the Veterans’ Administration Jamaica Plain. He has received multiple accolades, such as the “Best Fellow Presentation” from the Castroviejo Society and being named “Best Surgical Instructor” by graduating medical residents at Boston University. Dr. Aswad is fluent in Arabic and French and practices at several hospitals including Steward Norwood Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham, MA.
