Dr. Mina Lee

Biography

Mina Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. She holds a Ph.D. and an M.A.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Her research interests focus on sustainability in geotechnical engineering, resilience of infrastructure systems against climate change and natural hazards, life cycle assessment of geotechnical structures and products, geothermal energy, and multi-objective reliability-based design optimization. Dr. Lee is affiliated with several professional organizations including the Canadian Geotechnical Society (CGS), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE). Her recent publications include studies on environmental impacts of drilled shafts and integrated approaches to resilience and sustainability in geotechnical engineering.
