Mindy Sobota, MD MS MPhil, is an Associate Professor of Medicine and a Clinician Educator at Brown University since 2014. Her research specializes in the provision of reproductive health care by general internists. Dr. Sobota also previously held a position as a Clinician Educator at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, where she specialized in women’s health and holistic care for patients recovering from addiction. She is an active member of the Society of General Internal Medicine and the Society of Family Planning. Her recent research collaborations focus on enhancing the provision of reproductive health care by general internists, with particular attention to contraceptive implants, intrauterine devices, mifepristone for medication abortion, and miscarriage management.
