Biography

Ming Lo is a veterinary pathologist with expertise in pathogen-host interactions and viral pathogenesis. After completing his DVM at National Taiwan University, he developed a passion for veterinary clinical pathology while working in a clinical diagnostic lab. Currently, he serves as a research assistant professor at Boston University's Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine in the Comparative Pathology Laboratory at NEIDL. Dr. Lo specializes in histopathological assessments of viral infections, including those caused by influenza virus and coronaviruses, employing advanced image analysis techniques. He is passionate about applying his skills to enhance understanding of how viral pathogens interact with host immune responses in various models of infectious diseases.
