Biography

Minghui Zheng is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 2017. Prior to that, he obtained his M.S. in Control Science Engineering and B.S. in Engineering Mechanics from Beihang University in 2011 and 2008, respectively. His research focuses on human-robot collaboration, robotic motion planning, and learning-based control of heterogeneous robots. He is also engaged in collaborative disassembly, recycling, and remanufacturing processes. Zheng has received several awards, including the National Science Foundation CAREER Award in 2021 and the Exceptional Scholar: Young Investigator Award from the University at Buffalo in 2023.
