Biography

Mingshi Yang received his Ph.D. from Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, China in 2003. He conducted postdoctoral research at Gifu Pharmaceutical University, Japan, and Danish University of Pharmaceutical Sciences. He worked as a research scientist at Novo Nordisk A/S from 2006 to 2009 before joining the University of Copenhagen in June 2009. His research focuses on the engineering of micro/nanoparticles to enhance the delivery of biopharmaceuticals and small molecule therapeutics. Yang has published extensively and serves on the editorial board of international scientific journals. His research interests include developing micro/nanoparticulate systems for targeted delivery, improving stability and solubility, and understanding the physical and chemical mechanisms of particle engineering. He has supervised numerous Ph.D. students and has received several awards including a senior visiting scholarship from Fudan University.
