Minh-Hiên Lê is an Assistant Professor in the Teaching Stream at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto. She has completed her BScPhm and PharmD degrees at the University of Toronto, along with a hospital pharmacy residency at Hamilton Health Sciences. With extensive clinical experience as a pharmacist at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, she has worked in various areas including General Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Cardiology, and General Internal Medicine since 2006. Joining the faculty in 2013, Professor Lê has taught in the PharmD program and brought over a decade of clinical experience to the new role. From 2019 to 2020, she held the Pharmacy Innovation Fellowship as part of the Health Professionals Innovation Fellowship Program, focusing on a practice-based research project that explored pharmacist roles in enhancing patient care during discharge medication counseling. Currently, her research interests are concentrated in emerging areas of pharmacy education and the integration of artificial intelligence into pharmacy practice, finding new ways to teach critical thinking skills to students. Additionally, Professor Lê has made significant contributions to the development of the Year 1 curriculum for the new Three-Year PharmD program and serves as co-lead of the Equity, Diversity, Inclusion Working Group, promoting inclusive course development and supporting integration of best practices into the new curriculum.
