Biography

Miriam Barquero-Molina is an Associate Professor in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin. She holds a Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. in Geology from the University of Texas at Austin, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the University of Oviedo in Spain, respectively. Her recent roles include serving as an Associate Teaching Professor and directing the Geology Field Program at the University of Missouri before returning to UT Austin in 2023.
