Biography

Miriam works as project management officer for the Group Sustainability Technology (SusTec) at ETH Zurich, a role she joined in April 2023. Prior to her position in SusTec, she studied neuroscience at the University of Cambridge and obtained her PhD in Alzheimer's research from Imperial College London in 2017. Following the completion of her PhD, she engaged in post-doctoral research at ETH Zurich, focusing on pathways involved in brain clearance. Furthermore, she pursued a Certificate in Advanced Studies (CAS) in Research Management, which she completed in 2022. In the period between 2022 and 2023, Miriam served as the scientific coordinator for projects including the 'Integrative Human Circadian Daylight Platform' at the University of Basel and the 'Hochschulmedizin Zurich Flagship Project STRESS' involving ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich.
