Biography

Miriam Scadeng is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of California, San Diego. She has extensive training in the field of Medicine, holding a fellowship from the University of London at the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children, and has completed her medical degree in Radiology from Addenbrooke's Hospital at the University of Cambridge. She is recognized for her contributions to the understanding of respiratory physiological phenomena and diving physiology in marine mammals, specifically regarding Spheniscidae. Her interdisciplinary work has led to collaborations with numerous researchers in the field.
