Dr. Miriam Treggiari

Biography

Miriam Treggiari is an internationally recognized leader in the area of clinical outcomes research in the perioperative setting, with special emphasis on critically ill neurocritical care patients. She currently holds the position of Professor and Vice Chair of Clinical Research in the Department of Anesthesiology at the Yale School of Medicine. Prior to her appointment at Yale, Treggiari served as the Endowed Professor and Vice Chair of Research at Oregon Health Science University. Her academic background includes a medical degree from the University of Pavia in Italy, an MPH in Epidemiology and a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Washington. Treggiari completed her anesthesiology residency and fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at Geneva University Hospital in Switzerland. Her research interests include Anesthesiology, Critical Care, Epidemiology, and Perioperative Care.
