Dr. Miriam Wüst

Biography

Miriam Wüst is an associate professor at the Department of Economics at the University of Copenhagen, focusing her research on Health Economics and Family Economics. She has a keen interest in the effects of early interventions on children's well-being and family dynamics. Wüst is affiliated with the CEBI - Center for Economic Behavior and Inequality and serves as an associate editor for the Journal of Health Economics since July 2020. Her academic endeavors include collaborative projects on the country/territory level, enriching her insights into empirical health economics. Wüst also holds a position as a research fellow at the IZA Institute of Labor Economics, where she contributes to discussions on gender and economic behavior. Apart from her research, she teaches courses in Health Economics, Family Economics, and Gender Studies, shaping the next generation of economists. With a robust publication record, she remains actively engaged in various professional activities, including presenting and editorial work.
