Biography

Mirjam van Reisen is a Professor of International Relations and Innovation Care at Tilburg University and a Professor of FAIR Data Science at Leiden University Medical Centre, University of Leiden. She serves as the Director of the organization Europe External Policy Advisors based in Brussels and chairs the Virus Outbreak Data Africa Asia Network Steering Committee. Additionally, she leads the research network Globalisation, Innovation Care (GAIC). From 2013 to 2020, she was a member of the Dutch Advisory Council on International Affairs and chaired the Development Assistance Committee. Her work primarily focuses on international relations, innovation in care, and the intersection of these fields with data science.
