Biography

Dr. Mirko S. Gilardino is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon recognized by the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He received his MD from McGill University Faculty of Medicine and completed six years of Plastic Surgery training at McGill. Additionally, he obtained a Master's Degree in Experimental Surgical Research and completed a year of subspecialty training at the prestigious Ivy League University of Pennsylvania and the No. 1 ranked Children's Hospital in Philadelphia, focusing on Complex Craniofacial Surgery. He currently serves as the Chief of the Division of Plastic Reconstructive Surgery and Director of the H. B. Williams Craniofacial Cleft Surgery Unit at the Montreal Children's Hospital. Dr. Gilardino is also the Director of the Plastic Surgery Residency Program and an Associate Professor in the Surgery department at McGill Faculty of Medicine and the McGill University Health Centre. His clinical specialties include Pediatric Craniofacial Plastic Surgery and Adult Reconstructive Aesthetic Surgery.
