Dr. Misha Feigin

Biography

Misha Feigin is a Professor at the University of Glasgow specializing in mathematics, particularly in the area of integrable systems and their connections to algebra, geometry, and mathematical physics. His research focuses significantly on quantum integrable systems, including the Calogero-Moser type and their relativistic analogues. This work involves the study of Ruijsenaars-Macdonald operators, Baker-Akhiezer functions, and Darboux transformations. Feigin has explored depth in Hadamard's problem and Huygens' Principle theory, Coxeter hyperplane arrangements, and the mathematical implications of Cherednik algebras and Frobenius manifolds. He has contributed to a substantial body of work in random matrix theory and has collaborated on various grants focused on classical and quantum integrability.
