Biography

Mitchell B. Cohen, M.D., is a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine. He serves as Chief Medical Officer of Stanford Medicine Children’s Health and has held the position of Senior Associate Dean for Maternal and Child Health. His work on vaccine trials for enteric infections has been NIH-supported, leading to successful cholera vaccine licensure. He has served in various prestigious positions in professional associations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics and NASPGHAN, and has received lifetime achievement awards from notable organizations in the field of pediatrics and gastroenterology.
