Biography

Mitchell J. Rauh is a Professor and Director of the Doctor Physical Therapy Program at San Diego State University. Dr. Rauh holds a Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the University of Washington, an M.P.H. in Health Promotion from San Diego State University, a B.S.P.T. in Physical Therapy from the University of Washington, and a B.S. in Health Sciences from the University of Nevada. His research interests focus on Running Injury Epidemiology, particularly in high school populations, the Female Athlete Triad, Sports Injury Epidemiology, Sports Medicine/Orthopedics, Evidence-Based Practice, and various injuries, including stress fractures and traumatic brain injuries within U.S. military populations. Dr. Rauh has received multiple awards for his research contributions, including Faculty Research Publication Awards from the California Physical Therapy Association and the Excellence Research Award from the Sports Physical Therapy Section of the American Physical Therapy Association. Additionally, he holds a fellowship in the American College of Sports Medicine.
