Biography

Mo Chen joined the Materials Science and Engineering department in September 2024 as an assistant professor. Previously, he served as a postdoctoral scholar at the California Institute of Technology and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT in 2020, as well as his S.M. in the same field in 2015, and a B.S. in Optics from Fudan University in 2012.
