Biography

Moe Z. Win is the Robert R. Taylor Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics. His research focuses on decision science and quantum information, encompassing fundamental theory, algorithm design, and network experimentation for a broad range of real-world problems. His current research topics include AI-native extreme-g networks, space-air-ground networks, network localization, networked control, ultra-wideband systems, and quantum sensing, communications, and control. He has a strong background in mathematical statistics and random matrix theory applications in engineering science. He earned his B.S.E.E. in 1987 from Texas A&M University and both M.S.E.E. and MS in Applied Mathematics in 1989 from the University of Southern California, followed by a Ph.D. in 1998 from the same institution. Win has previously held positions at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory from 1987 to 1995 and AT&T Research Laboratories from 1998 to 2002. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
