Dr. Mohamed Chelli

Biography

Professor Mohamed Chelli holds a Master of Research degree in accounting from Université Paris-Dauphine (France) and a PhD in Business Administration (accounting) from Université Laval (Québec, Canada), as well as a joint degree from Université Paris-Dauphine. He teaches at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels, specializing in Financial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Managerial Accounting, and Qualitative Methods in Accounting Research, particularly within Social Environmental Accounting Research. Professor Chelli has presented his research at both national and international conferences, including the Asia-Pacific Interdisciplinary Research Accounting Conference and the Annual Congress of the European Accounting Association. His research primarily focuses on environmental disclosure, climate change, water disclosure performance, human rights discourse, and corporate socio-environmental performance indicators. He has published in reputable journals such as the Journal of Business Ethics and Accounting, Auditing & Accountability Journal.
