Biography

Mohamed Elemary is a Professor of Hematological Oncology at the University of Saskatchewan and Director of the Stem Cell Transplant Program at the Saskatoon Cancer Centre. He graduated from the School of Medicine at Cairo University in 1993, where he completed his residency training in internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology, focusing on bone marrow transplants at the Princess Margaret Hospital, University of Toronto. He joined the Saskatoon Cancer Centre in 2010. Dr. Elemary's primary research interests involve the treatment of malignant hematology, particularly Leukemia, Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS), Multiple Myeloma, and Lymphoma, alongside Stem Cell Transplantation. He is also engaged in clinical research as a principal investigator in clinical trials related to hematological malignancies and stem cell transplantation. With more than 60 publications in peer-reviewed journals, he has contributed significantly to his field, including presentations at both national and international conferences. Dr. Elemary serves as an associate editor and manuscript reviewer for various peer-reviewed journals and is a member of the educational committee of the Board of Directors at Cell Therapy Transplant Canada (CTTC), as well as the Canadian Leukemia Study Group and the Canadian Stem Cell Transplant Expert Committee.
