Biography

Mohamed Kheir is an Associate Professor in Electromagnetic Compatibility at the University of Southern Denmark. He received his MSc degree in Communications Technology from the University of Ulm in 2005 and his PhD in Information Engineering Technology from the German University in Cairo in collaboration with Magdeburg University in 2011. His professional experience includes roles as a Lecturer at Kiel University, where he was engaged in both teaching and research, and as a Senior RF/EMC Expert at IMS Connector Systems Group Keysight Technologies. From 2020 to 2023, he served as a Technical Leader for Nokia Networks in Ulm, Germany. His research interests include ML-Driven Techniques for EMI Simulations, Smart EMI Shielding, EMC-Compliant Power Electronic Circuits Layouts, and SI/PI Enhancement for Power Converters. He actively participates in the academic community as an Associate Editor for IEEE Access and as a reviewer for multiple IEEE/IET journals. Kheir has received numerous prestigious awards and honors for his contributions to the field of electromagnetic compatibility and continues to be an active professional lecturer with the IEEE EMC German Society.
