Biography

Dr. Mohamed Torbati is an Associate Professor at the University of Southampton, involved in teaching, research, and enterprise since completing his PhD in Signal Processing in 1995. Dr. Torbati's extensive experience includes membership in various research groups, and he currently directs the Internationalisation School of Engineering and serves as the Senior International Tutor for the School of Mechanical Engineering. His recent work encompasses the design of magnetic gears for energy harvesting and has led to active research projects on oscillatory mechanical motion.
