Dr. Mohammad Bahramy

Biography

Mohammad Saeed Bahramy is a Senior Lecturer in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics at the University of Manchester. His research explores exotic quantum states of matter and advanced computational theoretical methods with a particular focus on topological phases, quantum confinement, heterogeneous interfaces, low-dimensional thermoelectric phenomena, strongly correlated electron systems, and unconventional superconductivity. His central aim is to predict novel physical phenomena and design quantum materials with emergent electronic functionalities. He is actively involved in developing new theoretical frameworks and computational tools to enhance the capabilities of existing first-principles approaches and push the boundaries of materials discovery.
