Biography

Mohammad Dehghanimadvar is a Research Associate at the School of Photovoltaics and Solar Energy Engineering at UNSW Sydney, where he received his PhD in 2023. His primary research focuses on evaluating the sustainability of photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturing supply chains both in local and global markets, alongside accompanying policy mechanisms. His research interests encompass PV manufacturing, recycling, supply chain modeling, and optimization, with particular emphasis on understanding the economic, environmental, and social impacts, and the development of policy strategies to promote local PV manufacturing and recycling. Recently, he has been focusing on the impacts of establishing a low carbon solar glass circular economy in Australia. Mohammad is actively engaged in research collaborations with the Australian PV Institute, contributing to projects such as the Solar PV Maps Tools. Moreover, he extensively collaborates with researchers from diverse disciplines, including life cycle assessment, techno-economic analysis, and data analytics.
