Mohd Fikree bin Hassan joined the School of Information Technology at Monash University Malaysia as a Lecturer in June 2023. He received his B.Eng. degree in electronic engineering with a major in telecommunications from Multimedia University in 2004. After six years of working in the telecommunications industry, Fikree began his career as a lecturer and pursued postgraduate studies at the University of Malaya, where he earned a Master of Engineering degree in 2015 and subsequently a Ph.D. in 2018. With over 14 years of academic experience, he is involved in teaching, supervision, research, and administration. His research interests include signal image processing, particularly focusing on developing image enhancement and restoration algorithms for applications in computer vision. Currently, he serves as the director of the Advanced Computing Platform at Monash University Malaysia.
