Biography

Mohit Singh is an Associate Professor at the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He holds a PhD in Algorithms, Combinatorics, and Optimization from Carnegie Mellon University. His research specializes in discrete optimization, approximation algorithms, and convex optimization. Mohit has served as the Director of the Algorithms and Randomness Center from July 2019 to June 2023, and has been involved with various program committees, including SODA 2022 and STOC 2021. In addition, he has contributed to the field as an Associate Editor for the journals Mathematical Programming and Operations Research. Prior to joining Georgia Tech, he held positions at Microsoft Research and McGill University. Mohit is actively engaged in professional activities that foster advancements in algorithms and optimization research.
