Biography

Mojdeh Delshad is a Research Professor in the Hildebrand Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research interests include geologic carbon storage, enhanced oil recovery, reservoir engineering, unconventional resources, and reservoir simulation. Delshad has written extensively on hydrogen storage in geological formations, CO2 storage and utilization, and gas chemical EOR. She holds a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, obtained in 1986. Over her career, Delshad has contributed to numerous high-impact publications and has been recognized as a SPE Distinguished Member in 2014. Delshad's distinguished editorial work includes serving as an outstanding SPE Technical Editor. Moreover, her research output includes publications addressing key issues in petroleum engineering, with a focus on the implications and applications of advanced methodologies in oil recovery and reservoir simulation.
