Mojgan Jadidi is an Associate Professor in the Teaching Stream at the Lassonde School of Engineering. Her research interests encompass Geospatial Visual Analytics in 2D and 3D spaces, integration of Building Information Model (BIM) with 3D GIS, and applications of Spatial Quantum Computing focused on smart environmental and urban development. She is the founder of the GeoVA Lab, dedicated to advancing research and technology in engineering education through virtual and augmented reality and gamification techniques aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals. Dr. Jadidi obtained her PhD in Geomatics from Université Laval in 2014, where she worked on the development of Fuzzy Spatial Datacube for Risk Assessment. She also holds a MSc in Earthquake Seismology Engineering from Université Joseph Fourier in France and a BSc in Civil-Survey Engineering from the Iranian University of Science and Technology. Her research has been supported by multiple grants from NSERC, Mitacs, and the Academic Innovation Fund at York University. Currently, she serves as the Associate Director of the ESRI Center of Excellence at York University and is actively involved in several professional organizations in her field. Dr. Jadidi has received various international awards and scholarships throughout her academic career, including recognition from the American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE).
