Biography

Dr. Mojgan Rastegar is a professor in the Max Rady College of Medicine at the University of Manitoba, specializing in epigenetic regulation of brain development and neurodevelopmental disorders, with a particular focus on DNA methylation and the MeCP2 protein. She has published over 65 peer-reviewed papers and has authored 120 abstracts. In her role, she has mentored more than 90 trainees at various educational levels.
