Dr. Molly Malcolm

Biography

Molly Beth Malcolm currently serves as a Professor of Practice in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy at the University of Texas at Austin. With decades of experience in higher education, she has held various leadership roles within the state of Texas and on a national level, where she has focused on creating and advocating for political policies in education. Dr. Malcolm graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, where she completed her doctoral program in Higher Education Leadership. In her role at UT Austin, she teaches the Educational Politics and Policy course in the Executive Ed.D. program. Additionally, she is the Executive Vice Chancellor of Operations and Public Affairs at Austin Community College, where she leverages her expertise to shape effective educational strategies and policies.
