Biography

Molly Pont is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Dell Medical School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame and completed her medical education at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Following her graduation, she undertook a pediatric residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences/Arkansas Children’s Hospital, followed by a fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center/Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in 2008. Her clinical expertise revolves around neonates with complex medical conditions, and her academic interests focus on quality improvement in feeding practices and the reduction of necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC). In her free time, Molly enjoys reading, traveling, scuba diving, and participating in mission work.
