Biography

Mona Nemer holds a PhD in bio-organic chemistry from McGill University. Prior to joining the University of Ottawa, she was a Professor in Pharmacology at Université de Montréal and served as the Director of the Cardiac Development Research Unit at the Institut de recherches cliniques de Montréal (IRCM). She is a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Cardiovascular Cell Differentiation.
