Biography

Monica Olvera de la Cruz is the Lawyer Taylor Professor at Northwestern University's Department of Materials Science and Engineering and also holds a courtesy appointment in Chemistry. She serves as the Director of the Center for Computation and Theory of Soft Materials and as the Deputy Director of the Center for Bio-Inspired Energy Science. She has also held various esteemed roles, such as Senior Editor for ACS Central Science and as a fellow of the American Physical Society.
