Biography

Monil Karia is a postgraduate researcher at Imperial College London, specializing in Trauma Orthopaedic Surgery. He completed his specialized registrar training in the North West Thames rotation and has been recognized as an Honorary Clinical Research Fellow at the MSk Lab. He graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine in 2014, achieving distinctions in Medical Sciences and Clinical Practice. He is currently in the final stages of his PhD at Imperial College, where he is supervised by Professor Justin Cobb, focusing on techniques to maximize implant stability and minimize fracture risk in hip arthroplasty. Karia has received numerous accolades, including the Dean's Masters Scholarship, which funded his MSc in Health Policy, and he is set to obtain his FRCS (Trauma and Orthopaedics) qualification in 2024.
